Welcome to Kisasa Craft, a Shopify store specializing in handmade African crafts. By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General

  • These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our website and the purchase of our products.
  • We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Changes are effective upon posting to the website.
  • All products are handmade, and slight variations in design, color, or texture may occur due to their artisanal nature.

2. Ordering and Payment

  • Orders are subject to product availability.
  • Prices are listed in Kenyan Shillings unless otherwise specified via Shopify Markets for multi-currency support.
  • Payment must be completed in full at checkout using accepted methods (credit/debit cards, Shopify Payments, or other enabled gateways).
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders due to suspected fraud, pricing errors, or other valid reasons.

3. Shipping

  • Shipping times and costs vary based on location and selected method, displayed at checkout.
  • We are not responsible for delays due to customs, carrier issues, or incorrect shipping information provided by the customer.
  • Customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, or fees.

4. Return and Refund Policy

Eligibility for Returns

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for the following reasons:
    • Incorrect Size: The product does not match the size specified in the order.
    • Damaged or Defective Product: The item arrives broken, damaged, or otherwise defective.
    • Incorrect Item: The product received is not what was ordered.
  • To be eligible, items must be unused, in their original condition, and include all original packaging.

Return Process

  • Contact us at kisasacraft.sales@gmail.com or Whatsapp us at +254727398075 within 30 days of delivery to initiate a return, providing your order number, reason for return, and photos (if applicable).
  • We will provide a return shipping address and instructions.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Once the return is received and inspected (typically within 5-7 business days), we will notify you of approval or rejection.

Replacements and Refunds

  • If the return is approved due to incorrect size, damaged/defective product, or incorrect item, we will:
    • Replace the item with a new one of the same type (subject to availability) at no additional cost, or
    • Issue a full refund to the original payment method if a replacement is unavailable.
  • Refunds for other reasons (e.g., change of mind) are not offered unless explicitly agreed upon by Kisasa Craft.
  • Refunds exclude original shipping costs and are processed within 7-10 business days after approval.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-made or personalized products.
  • Items damaged due to misuse, neglect, or improper handling by the customer.
  • Products without original packaging or proof of purchase.

5. Product Descriptions

  • We strive to ensure all product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate. However, due to the handmade nature of our crafts, minor variations are expected and do not constitute defects.
  • Colours may vary slightly due to lighting or device screen settings.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website (images, descriptions, logos) is the property of Kisasa Craft or our artisans and is protected by copyright laws.
  • Products are sold for personal use only. Reproduction, resale, or distribution of our designs without permission is prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Kisasa Craft is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.
  • Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
